The most important part of your business system is the part you never see.

On 4 October 2026, we moved Calidore Core onto new hardware running Windows Server 2025. For the business supplies dealers and distributors who rely on Core every day, this strengthens the foundations underneath their orders, stock, pricing and customer records.

What has changed

Calidore Core is our cloud ERP system, bringing sales, stock, purchasing and finance together in one connected system. It now runs on new hardware powered by Windows Server 2025, Microsoft's latest server platform.

This is the cloud infrastructure that keeps Core running for our customers. You won't see it on screen, but it affects how every part of the system performs, including Calidore CRM, which shares live data with Core.

What it means for Core users

Tighter security. Windows Server 2025 brings Microsoft's latest security improvements, and the new hardware gives Core a stronger foundation. A secure cloud ERP matters more than ever when your customer records, pricing and financial data all live in one place.

Faster response. The move to new hardware means quicker response times across the system, from looking up a customer's account to processing an order.

Better performance. Core runs more smoothly overall, so your team has a system that keeps pace with a busy working day.

Long term support. Microsoft supports Windows Server 2025 under its Fixed Lifecycle Policy, with mainstream support to November 2029 and extended support to November 2034. The platform under Core is built for the years ahead.

The groundwork for what comes next

This upgrade is more than a hardware change. It's the next step in how Core is evolving.

We're building the next generation of Calidore Core to be device independent, so your team can reach the system wherever the work happens: in the warehouse, out on the road or at a customer's premises, not just at a desk in the office.

For dealers whose sales reps, drivers and warehouse teams spend much of their day away from a desk, that means getting information to the people who need it, when they need it.

Why stable back end systems matter

Most people judge business software by what they see on screen. But the systems underneath decide how secure, fast and reliable that experience is.

As a business grows, it puts more demand on its systems: more orders, more users, more data. A stable, efficient back end means Core is ready to grow with the dealers that use it.
