One of Calidore’s oldest customers, Mark Toney, has been acquired by entrepreneur Chris Raynes. Established in 1892, Mark Toney is recognised as an iconic North East brand, famous for its ice cream and heritage cafés.
As part of the transition, Calidore will be upgrading Mark Toney’s on-premise system and moving their back office into the Calidore Cloud. We will also be installing our latest Xero Accounts integration, ensuring the platform is fully aligned with the requirements of the new ownership team.
The original Calidore back office system was installed in 1999 and enhanced with bespoke elements to support the buying, manufacturing, and selling of ice cream from Mark Toney’s North Tyneside factory.
Calidore would like to thank the outgoing owners and wish them a happy retirement. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Chris Raynes and his team to support the next chapter in Mark Toney’s story.
